Honda Presidents’ Day

No voiceover. No script. No flashy words or builds on-screen. Absolutely no presidential puns. This Presidents’ Day spot bucked all the norms for sales event TV. A little less “safe” than usual, featuring a rockin’ (totally custom) track alongside bold, brilliant visuals. Plus, of course, a few familiar faces sporting shades and throwing peace signs from inside our Honda lineup.

What started with our ACD drawing sunglasses on the man in the five-spot morphed into a number of different ideas and avenues – from slangy phrases and Mount Rushmore stars to red, white and blue patterns and vanity plates. The final product is eye-catching (ear-catching) and totally unique in both style and tone – a nod to its polished 3D animation, art direction and compositing. Creativity is not always a straight line … and our vote? Follow wherever it leads.
